Ankle, Shoulder Keeps George From Practicing In Coliseum
By Billy Byler January 7, 2004
Titans Runningback Eddie
George Missed Wednesday's
Practice Due To An Injured
Shoulder and Ankle

For the final time of the 2003-04 season, the Tennessee Titans played under the lights of the Coliseum Wednesday evening for a mid-week practice.

''It will be a little cooler,'' Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher told reporters Wednesday afternoon. ''We'll be playing under the lights so it makes sense to practice under the lights at least once this week.''

With temperatures in the mid 20s, the Titans conducted a two hour practice typical of a Wednesday afternoon.

The only difference to the workout was the absence of runningback Eddie George.

''Eddie's going to run,'' Fisher said before practice. ''I don't know how much he's going to do with the offense, but he will run with the trainers.''

George did not practice because of a dislocated shoulder suffered last week against Baltimore and a mild sprained ankle.

George is listed as questionable for Saturday night's game in New England.
