For the second time in as many weeks, Titans kicker Gary Anderson has been named the NFL Special Teams Player of the Week.
The award comes on the heels of Anderson 46 yard game winning field goal against Baltimore in the AFC Wild Card game last Saturday.
Anderson was 2 of 2 on field goal tries in the game, connecting from 46, and 45 yards, which were his longest attempts this season.
''There was a certain amount of pressure, but I’ve been in those situations many, many times,'' Anderson said. ''I just somehow subconsciously focus on what needs to be done and everything sort of disappears and I just focus on the ball.''
Peyton Manning's 158.3 QB rating against Denver earned him the honor of Offensive Player of the Week, while Green Bay's Al harris was named the Defensive Player of the Week for his interception return for a touchdown in overtime against Seattle.
