The NFL announced the starters for the 2004 Pro-Bowl on Saturday, and Titans quarterback Steve McNair will get the start under center for AFC.
Joining McNair in the offensive backfield for the AFC will be Baltimore running back Jamal Lewis, and Chiefs fullback Tony Richardson.
The rest of the starting offense for the AFC includes the Colts Marvin Harrison, Bengals Chad Johnson at receiver, and Tony Gonzalez at tight end.
Baltimore's Jonathan Ogden and Kansas City's Willie Roaf will start at the tackle position. The Steelers Alan Faneca and Will Shields of Kansas City get the start at offensive guard, with the Jets Kevin Mawae anchoring the line at center.
Minnesota's Dante Culpepper gets the start at quarterback for the NFC. Green Bay's Ahman Green and the 49ers Fred Beasley round out the backfield.
Torry Holt, Randy Moss, and Atlanta's Alge Crumpler will get the start at wide receiver and tight end.
Olin Kreutz, Marco Rivera, Larry Allen, Orlando Pace, Flozell Adams get the call for NFC offensive line.
The AFC defense will line up with Richard Seymour, Marcus Stroud on the defensive line. Indianapolis' Dwight Freeney and Miami's Adewale Ogunleye will cover the edges at defensive end.
Baltimore teammates Ray Lewis and Peter Boulware join Buffalo's Takeo Spikes at linebacker. Ty Law, Patrick Surtain, Ed Reed, Brock Marion round out the AFC defesnsive backfield.
The NFC defense starts up-front with La’Roi Glover, Kris Jenkins, Simeon Rice, and Michael Strahan. The linebacking crew will be Brian Urlacher on the inside, LaVar Arrington and Derrick Brooks on the outside. Champ Bailey and Dre Bly start at the corners, with Corey Chavous and Roy Williams patrol the rest of the secondary.
The Pro Bowl will be played for the 25th consecutive year at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday, February 8, 2004.
