After sitting out for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Titans quarterback Steve McNair returned to practice for the first time in over a week.
Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher said it was only a light workout, but the results looked positive.
''He was adament about getting taped, going out there, and checking both legs out,'' Fisher said. ''He was happy with the way things went. He dropped, he set, he threw, and he felt good. So he will practice tomorrow.''
A Saturday playoff game resulted in a rare Tuesday practice for the Titans players this week. Even though the team will lose a day by playing on Saturday, Fisher gave the team a light workout Tuesday with concentration off of hitting and on team meetings and film review.
''This typically is the player's day off,'' Fisher said. ''We wanted to get as much done as we could without knocking them off schedule. We still have some recovery from the game that we're concerned about. I thought we got a lot done. We took the same approach last week, and it worked well for us.''
Fisher said he is not concerned about the lack of a full practice.
''We got everything done,'' Fisher said. ''We had the meetings, and we got everything done. The walk through went very well, the players were focused, we had full speed special teams work, and then we shut it down after that.''
