George Surpasses Rushing Milestones

And 10,000 Rushing Yards
In His Career

Titans starting runningback Eddie George surpassed two rushing milestones in Tennessee's 33-13 win over Tampa Bay in Nashville Sunday.

Midway through the third quarter, George broke a 10 yard run for a first down. The run also gave George 1,000 rushing yards for the 2003 season.

Later in the fourth quarter, George gained four yards on a short run. The play gave the veteran runningback 10,000 rushing yards for his career.

George is only the 17th player in NFL history to rush for 10,000 yards.
