George's Ankle Swollen, Out Of Practice
Staff Report December 25, 2003

Running back Eddie George did not practice Thursday with a swollen ankle.

Head Coach Jeff Fisher said the Titans held the running back out of action. With running back Robert Holcombe out with a hamstring injury, rookie Chris Brown and newly-activated Ray Jackson saw action. Jackson moved from the practice squad to the active roster earlier this week.

''He's gong to have a chance to play a little bit,'' Fisher said, ''And we wanted to bring him up to speed as quickly as possible. So these reps are good for him at this point.''

Wide receiver Tyrone Calico returned to practice Thursday after missing more than a week with swelling in his knee.

Thought wide receiver Derrick Mason did not practice, he did run before practice.
