NFL Releases Possible Playoff Seeds
Staff Report December 23, 2003

The NFL released the possible AFC playoff seedings, based on the outcome of this weekend's games.

If the Titans and Colts win Sunday, the Titans would be the number five seed, with a wild card game the weekend of January 3-4. The Colts would win the AFC South.

If the Titans win and the Colts lose Sunday, Tennessee would finish with the number three seed, by virtue of winning the AFC South. The Titans would host a playoff game the weekend of January 3-4.

If both the Titans and Colts lose Sunday, the Titans would remain the number five seed if the Broncos lose. If Denver wins, the Titans would drop to the sixth seed.

If the Titans lose Sunday and the Broncos win, the Titans would also drop to the sixth seed.
