Titans Still Alive For Division Title
By David Knies December 22, 2003

With the Broncos beating the Colts Sunday night, the Titans still find themselves in a possible position to win the AFC South.

The Titans (11-4) did their part on Sunday beating the Texans 27-24 on a last second touchdown pass from Steve McNair.

If the Colts (11-4) lose to the Texans this week, and the Titans beat Tampa Bay, then Tennessee would find itself alone at the top of the division.

That scenario would give the Titans a home game in the first round of the playoffs. If the Colts win, the Titans will have to travel in the first round.

On Monday, Head Coach Jeff Fisher announced several injuries that may keep numerous players out of practice this week.

Five out of the seven wide receivers for the Titans are expected to miss practice and may be questionable Sunday.

Running Back Robert Holcombe had an MRI on Monday that showed a slight hamstring pull.

On defense, cornerback Andre Dyson will have a CAT scan on his ribs this week to see how severe his injury was Sunday.

Rocky Calmus is off his cane this week, but is not expected to play this week.
