Miller Advance Created Room For O'Donnell Staff Report December 20, 2003
The Titans move to get Neil O'Donnell did indeed involve tackle Fred Miller.
The Tennessean's Jeff Legwold reports the Titans gave Miller a guaranteed advance of $75,000. The NFL treated the advance as a signing bonus, reducing Miller's cap number and creating room for O'Donnell.
According to Legwold, O'Donnell will make $89,000 over the final two games and has two bonuses from which he can add about $75,000.
O'Donnell could get the start Sunday at Houston.
