Shortly after the NFL approved his contract, Quarterback Neil O'Donnell was back in a Titans jersey and running the offense at Baptist Sports Park.
''It felt good to put that #14 back on again,'' O'Donnell said. ''After a couple of reps, it felt like I never left me,''.
''I feel good, my mind is fresh, and I'm here, more than anything, to win a championship,''.
Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher said O'Donnell has already begun studying the game plan against Houston, and looks good so far.
''His arm is good, his timing is good,'' Fisher said. ''He's is very good shape, as far as playing shape is concerned,''.
The signing of O'Donnell couldn’t have come a moment too soon. Steve McNair's injured left ankle isn't healing as fast as anyone had hoped.
''Steve could not play as of today,'' Fisher said. ''If we were playing the Texans today, Neil would start,''
McNair did some individual work prior to Thursday's practice, but continues to have trouble planting on the injured foot.
