NFL Approves O'Donnell Contract
Staff Report December 18, 2003
The NFL has approved a contract bringing Neil O'Donnell back to the Titans as the team's backup quarterback according to the Associated Press.
The Titans and O'Donnell agreed to terms on a contract late last night, but had awaited final word from the league before knowing whether O'Donnell could practice with the team.
O'Donnell will likely take the first-team snaps in practice for the rest of the week, and could start Sunday's game at Houston, as starter Steve McNair continues to deal with pain in his ankle.
McNair, who was just selected to the Pro Bowl, is dealing with a sprained ankle, a cracked bone spur, and a strained calf.
