With Billy Volek out for the remainder of the season and a banged up Steve McNair, the Titans have turned to a familiar face.
NFL veteran Neil O'Donnell talked to Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher on Monday night about the possibly coming back to the team to take Volek's spot.
Fisher was pleased with the conversation he has with O'Donnell.
''Based on my conversation with Neil, I feel like he would really like to come back,'' said Fisher, ''he is excited, he missed it.''
The one thing O'Donnell and the Titans still have to iron out is money. The Titans do not have a lot salary cap room and may have to release a player to free up money.
If the team can't reach an agreement with O'Donnell they will prepare Jason Gesser as the backup.
If they can reach an agreement then O'Donnell will take snaps with the first team.
''I told Neil if he comes in he will take practice over just like last year,'' said Fisher.
