The Tennessee Titans will pick sixth in the April 23-24 NFL Draft, the NFL announced Monday.
Tennessee will be the third 5-11 team to pick in the first round because of the strength of schedule tiebreaker. Teams with the same record are judged by their opponent's won/loss record. The higher the opponent winning percentage, the lower the draft pick.
Tennessee's opponents finished 131-125, behind only Oakland.
It is the highest the franchise has picked since it moved to Tennessee.
San Francisco, with a 2-14 record, will hold the first overall pick in April's draft.
