In the past month, Titans wide receiver Drew Bennett has been one of the top players in the AFC.
Selected as an alternate for the Pro Bowl, Bennett is the AFC's leader in receiving yards. He has 1,171 yards and 10 touchdowns for the season. Eight of those scores came in the Titans last three games.
Although his best performances came in losses for the team, Bennett's success in the last half of the season has helped him gain confidence.
''At the beginning of the season I was definitely struggling a little bit. I feel as if I've played well now.''
Bennett will carry that confidence over to next season.
''I'm very confident out there. I'm very happy with how I'm playing. I wish we were doing a little bit better. All we can do is finish strong and get ready for next year.''
Bennett's touchdowns are not just benefitting his team.
Before the season, Bennett stated that he would donate $1000 to his charity, Drew's Crew, for each touchdown that he scored. His total is now up to $10,000.
Donating to the charity while scoring touchdowns is an added bonus for Bennett.
"Kill two birds with one stone. I can make some donations and help our team."
