Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher said Monday that he believes a few injured players could return to the practice field this week.
Fisher said that Albert Haynesworth, Rocky Boiman, Brad Hopkins, and Cody Spencer might all be able to get back to work some time during the week's preparations for Denver.
Hopkins' return could be a big help for the offensive line, who has been plugging holes for most of the season.
''I think Brad may have a chance to practice with us a little bit,'' Fisher said. ''His hand is getting a little more comfortable.''
Along with Hopkins, Fisher said center Justin Hartwig might be able to play this weekend even though his hand injury has not healed.
''He'll have to wear some sort of protective device, but (Hartwig) will have a much better chance this week,'' Fisher said.
On the other side of the ball, the defensive line has battled injuries as well. Although the younger players have received a lot of experience and have been making an impact, Fisher still hopes to get one of his starting defensive tackles back into the lineup.
''I think Albert is getting better,'' Fisher said. ''He's still sore, but he's getting better.''
Fisher also said Boiman is close but may or may not be back. If he can get back out there, he will move back into the linebacker rotation immediately.
