Titans rookie defensive end Antwan Odom has not eased his way onto the field in his first season in the NFL.
He has learned on the job, starting six games and playing in all 13.
Odom will have a stern test at Oakland today against Oakland's prize rookie, offensive tackle Robert Gallery.
''He's a real good player,'' Odom said. ''He's a very physical guy and likes to push (other players) around a little bit.''
Odom said he relishes the challenge of testing his game against another rookie after a season filled with matchups against veterans and all-pros.
''It's a challenge but I've been going against pro-bowlers all year,'' Odom said. ''There are no bigger than challenges that, we've been facing some good offensive linemen (all season).''
Oakland drafted Gallery with the second overall pick in the 2004 draft out of the University of Iowa.
Gallery has entrenched himself in the Raiders offensive line after receiving the highest rating from the NFL Draft Report of any offensive lineman since Tony Boselli in 1995.
