Brown To Miss Sunday's Game
Staff Report December 17, 2004

Titans running back Chris Brown will not make the trip to Oakland for Sunday's game as he made a trip Friday to Birmingham, Alabama, to see Dr. James Andrews concerning his turf toe.

Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher said the team does not yet have results from Brown's evaluation, and they hope to have him back for the final two games of the season.

"We felt like we were better suited by sending (Brown) down there and letting (Andrews) look at it," Fisher said.

Fisher also said it was unlikely that center Justin Hartwig would play on Sunday, unless there was an emergency situation.

"Just the fact that he was out here today with the cast and taped and protected is progress," Fisher said. "He snapped with his left hand for the first time in his life, and actually did pretty well, but it would be unlikely that he would play center."

Fisher said that he is hopeful that Hartwig could play guard in an emergency situation.

Titans guard Benji Olson did not practice Friday, still suffering from a sprained toe.
