Faggins Next CB To Meet With Titans

By Jonathan Hutton March 19, 2009

The Titans met with Houston Texans free agent cornerback DeMarcus Faggins on Thursday, agent Robb Nelson told Titans Radio.

Faggins just finished his seventh NFL season with the Houston Texans. Houston orginally drafted the 5-10, 179-pound cornerback out of Kansas State in the sixth round of the 2002 draft. Faggins has recorded five career interceptions, the last one coming in 2006 when he started 10 games.

Tennessee has worked to fill depth behind starters Cortland Finnegan and Nick Harper following the departure of Chris Carr and Eric King in free agency. San Francisco 49ers free agent cornerback Donald Strickland met with Titans officials on Wednesday.
