Quarter By Quarter: Titans at Colts

1st Quarter

7-0 Colts - 13:02 - Not much doing for the Titans defense on the first Indy drive of the game.  Colts quarterback Peyton Manning orchestrates an "all-too-easy" drive to get the Colts on the board first. 

7-3 Colts- 6:34 - A methodical drive led by quarterback Vince Young and running back Chris Johnson help set up a 20-yard Rob Bironas field goal.  The drive stalled at the three-yard line after Young missed wide receiver Nate Washington in the end zone. 

2nd Quarter

14-3 Colts - 11:34 - The Titans defense fails to stop the Colts on several third downs and Colts running back Joseph Addai counters with a tough 1-yard touchdown run for his second score of the day. 

10:50 - Young completes a short pass to fullback Ahmad Hall, but Hall fumbles on the play, giving the ball back to Indianapolis. 

5:43 - Young gets flushed out of the pocket and throws a bad interception to Colts cornerback Jacob Lacey. 

21-3 Colts - 1:55 - Manning is able to capitalize on the turnover by finding Austin Collie for a four-yard touchdown on third and goal. 

21-10 Colts - 0:20 - Rookie receiver Kenny Britt scores on a 6-yard pass from Young during a quick 8-play, 66-yard drive.

24-10 Colts - 0:00 - Indy kicker Matt Stover makes a 43-yard field goal as time expires in the first half.  The field goal was set up by a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty on Tony Brown after he took his helmet off during the previous play. 

3rd Quarter

1:01 - Head Coach Jeff Fisher elects to go for the touchdown on fourth-and-goal from the two-yard line and comes up empty.  Young tosses a fade to Britt in the back of the end zone, but he can't come down with it inbounds. 

4th Quarter

12:00 - On fourth down and five deep in Colts territory, Young misfires on a throw to Lavelle Hawkins and the Titans turn the ball over on downs again. 

3:14 - 27-10 Colts - The Colts orchestrate a long drive that eats up 7:23 off the clock and ends with a 36-yard Stover field goal. 

1:23 - 27-17 Colts - Tight end Bo Scaife hauls in a 17-yard touchdown pass after a long Kenny Britt kick return to cut into the Indy lead.

0:57 - The Titans recover an onside kick, but can't advance the ball and turn it over on downs.
