Young's Knee Injury Not Serious
Staff Report December 7, 2009
Titans quarterback Vince Young is not expected to miss practice time this week due to a knee contusion suffered during Sunday's 27-17 loss at Indianapolis.
Head Coach Jeff Fisher said Young was sore on Monday, but the injury was not as serious as it appeared to be on the sideline.
''We’re treating him today [Monday] and we’ll see how he is,'' Fisher said. ''I wouldn’t anticipate it being a problem.''
''Obviously, it was a physical game. There was a lot going on. I think he was a little sore prior to the interception [on a later drive].''
Young took a hit to his right knee during the first half Sunday and team trainers immediately attended to his right knee when the Titans defense took the field. Young returned on the next possession, however, and finished the game 24-of-43 for 241 yards. He passed for a pair of touchdowns but also had an interception.
