LeBron James delights Baseball Hall of Famer with latest shoe

CLEVELAND, Ohio – This weekend was a relief for sneakerheads who didn’t get a chance to grab the latest standout pair of Nike LeBron 15 shoes the first time around.Stores restocked the LeBron 15 “Griffey,” which pays tribute to Baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. The sneaker was the last in Nike’s #LeBronWatch promotional campaign.With the “Griffey” being instantly popular, Foot Locker’s House of Hoops talked with both Griffey and James about the release and what it means to both of them. James called Griffey an inspiration, while the former baseball star was flattered by the tribute.
