Titans TE Walker cleared to play, nears 500 receptions

Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker returned to practice on Friday and was cleared to play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.Walker missed the two previous days of practice due to a knee injury. He was a full participant on Friday.”I have great coaches, a great training staff,” Walker told reporters. “I felt good today, running around, so I am looking to play on Sunday.”Walker enters Sunday’s contest with 499 career receptions and is looking to become the sixth active tight end with 500 or more.”I didn’t even know that I was reaching that mark,” Walker said. “Our PR department let me know about it. At the end of the day, I don’t think about it because when you think about things like that you tend to mess up. I am just going to go about my day and play on Sunday and if I get the catch, I get the catch. If I don’t, I don’t.
