Fisher Named To Competition Committee

Titans coach Jeff Fisher will join Vikings' coach Dennis Green as the only head coaches on the NFL's Competition Committee.

Commissioner Paul Tagliabue appointed Fisher to the committee, which oversees all aspects of the game and recommends rule and policy changes.

On Tuesday night's GTE Wireless Jeff Fisher Show, the head coach said he would like to expand instant replay into the area of fumbles involving quarterback sacks. Several situations have developed this season where the official ruled the fumble an incomplete pass.

Fisher's appointment becomes official February 1.
