Titans Leave Today On 'Business Trip'
The Titans leave for Pittsburgh Friday afternoon in preparation for Sunday's game against the Steelers, one day earlier than usual because of Y2K.
The NFL mandated all visiting teams be in place prior to the strike of midnight to avoid any potential problems.
'This is a business trip for us,' head coach Jeff Fisher said. 'We'll enjoy dinner together as a team, then have a few things for them in the hotel.'
'Saturday will be a full work day.'
Tennessee will work out Saturday at Duquesne University and resume a normal meeting schedule Saturday evening.
The Titans may get a break from the weather,as a warming trend across the northern states have changed the forecast from snow and temperatures in the 30s to rain with temperatures in the 50s.
