The NFL's former players honored Titans rookie Jevon Kearse Tuesday, naming him the league's top pass rusher in 1999. The NFL Alumni ask its members to vote for players who play the same position as they did. Kearse will be honored at a January 28th event during Super Bowl week. The University of Florida standout broke the rookie sack record this week against the Falcons, recording his 13 and a half sack. He has 80 tackles and nine forced fumbles.
Kearse joins two other AFC Central players as part of the 11 honored, Jacksonville offensive lineman Tony Boselli and Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis.
