Titans Radio and UPS to Honor Scholar Athletes
The Tennessee Titans Radio Network and UPS will honor 12 high school students for their academic and athletic achievement prior to Sunday's game with the Falcons, as part of the Scholar Athlete of the Week Program.
Schools in the Nashville-metro area were asked to nominate students who excelled in the classroom and in their chosen sport. Titans Radio selected one student from the hundreds of nominations prior to each game and honored him/her as the week's scholar athlete during 'Titans Talkback' on Groovin' Hits 104.5.
Sunday, the 12 students will be honored during the 'Tennessee Tailgate Show' with a plaque and will attend the game against the Falcons. In addition, UPS will award one student a $1000 scholarship during the show.
