Fisher Calls For An End To Noise Flap
Citing the NFL's statement clearing the Titans on any wrongdoing, head coach Jeff Fisher called for an end to the Rams noise controversy.
In the weeks following the October 31st game, the Rams have accused the Titans of incorrectly using movie clips to incite the crowd as well as piping in artificial noise.
Tuesday night on Titans Radio's GTE Wireless Jeff Fisher Show, the coach said the controversy has snowballed.
'The league office issued statements today that said there was no letter sent to us, nobody did anything illegal, all we have here at Adelphia Coliseum are loud fans that are cheering for their team,' Fisher said.
Fisher said he was disappointed by by the comments from the Rams and coach Dick Vermeil.
'Maybe it was just a bad job he did coaching that day,' Fisher said. 'Is it a coincedence that he's accused both Detroit and Tennessee of piping in crowd noise when those were both games that they have lost and they both happen to be games on the road.'
Maybe Dick ought to worry about preparing his team to play better on the road and less about what teams do in their stadium.'
