Titans Apologize For Video

Titans President Jeff Diamond called Ravens coach Brian Billick Monday to apologize for the video shown on the Adelphia Coliseum Titantron just before kickoff.

The video featured Ravens players as well as Billick talking to his team after their win over the Broncos and how they were Super Bowl bound.

'Jeff Fisher, Jeff Diamond and Floyd Reese are three of the classiest people in the league,' Billick said postgame. 'I am confident they knew absolutely nothing about that classless, totally classless display on their board. There is no way that anybody is going to convince me that those three gentlemen knew anything about that shameless display.'

Diamond told Billick Monday morning that his understanding was the presentation was to be 'a little tweak' in reference to the Sports Illustrated article concerning Eddie George.

'I apologized to Brian,' Diamond saud. 'It was excessive in our opinion and something like that was not going to happen again. He accepted that.'

Diamond said the matter had been handled internally.
