George Racks Up 91 Yards in Loss to Ravens

Eddie George and the Titans offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage against the Ravens, but it wasn't enough in the Ravens 24-10 victory on Sunday.

George ran for 91 yards on 27 carries. That was the most rushing yards allowed by the Ravens this season.

'The Offensive line came off the ball well,' George said. 'That's the best we've ever come off the ball against this group. They do a great job up front and we knew that was their strength. We just wanted to attack it head on and I thought we did a decent job of that today.'

The offensive line started its dominance in the very first drive. They gave George big holes to run through and that helped the former Buckeye rack up 23 yards on 6 carries on the first drive, that included a two-yard touchdown run to cap it off.

George also led the team in receptions. He grabbed eight catches for 52 yards. But the one he wishes he could have back was the Ray Lewis 50 yard interception return for a touchdown. McNair saw George at the 50, but the all-pro running back juggled it and Lewis ended up with the ball in his hands.

'It (football) bounced off my hand, hit my shoulder pad,' George said. 'I should of made the play. He did a great job of catching the ball.'
