A strained groin forced Titans linebacker Randall Godfrey out of Wednesday's practice. The Tennessean reports Godfrey injured the groin in the game against Dallas. He remained in Nashville this past weeked to undergo treatment. 'It feels a little worse than I thought it would,' Godfrey told the Tennessean. 'It just doesn’t feel so good when I get out there and run around. We’ll see how it is Friday and go from there.' Godfrey said he hoped to be back full speed by Friday.
Quarterback Steve McNair practiced Wednesday but continues to be bothered by a sore ankle. Bruce Matthews (turf toe) and Marcus Robertson (shinn) missed practice.
