Fisher & Crew Wait For Sunday's Results |
Titans Finish Off Bye-Week Practice
The final day of the Titans' bye-week work served as a walk-through focusing on the basics.
'We worked on alot of specific things that we need
to refresh ourselves about,' said Fisher.
Quarterback Steve McNair (ankle), running back Eddie George(toe), and defensive end Kenny Holmes (shoulder/knee) all sat out Saturday, but Fisher expects all three to be ready to return to practice on Tuesday when the Titans return to work.
'If we were going to play this weekend everybody
would have practiced,' Fisher said.
Offensive guard Bruce Matthews remained sidelined with a case of turf toe. Fisher said Matthews may need a few more days rest before returning to work.
Players get the weekend off before returning to work Tuesday to start preparation for next Sunday's divisional game.
