Titans Radio Begins Expanded Playoff Coverage Friday
Titans Radio will provide the most complete coverage anywhere of Tennessee's second straight trip to the playoffs with an expanded lineup of programming.
'Titans fans are excited about the team's chances on the road to Tampa,' said Titans Radio Director of NFL Sales Kyle Denzel. 'Fans will hear every moment of the action from the mid south's most knowledgeable broadcast team.'
Titans Radio playoff coverage begins Friday as 'The Voice of the Titans' Mike Keith and Executive Producer Larry Stone host Titans Countdown Friday, a special edition of Titans Radio's award-winning pregame show. The program will air from 5-7p (cst) on The New 104 The Core and many Titans Radio stations across the mid-south.
'We'll get fans the latest on the Titans' preparations plus preview a very exciting weekend of Wild Card action,' Keith said.
Titans Countdown Friday will air every Friday from 5-7p (cst) during the Titans playoff run, and will feature special guests and phone calls from fans.
Next Tuesday, The Verizon Wireless Jeff Fisher Show expands to two hours on The New 104 The Core to give fans more of a chance to talk about the upcoming game. The show will air from O'Charley's in Brentwood from 6-8p (cst).
When the Titans open play next Sunday in the divisional round, Titans Radio coverage will begin at 8:30a on the New 104 The Core with Arrowsmith Eye Institute's Eye on Football live from the Titans End Zone Party outside Adelphia Coliseum. A special two-hour Titans Countdown begins at 9:30a with phone calls from fans across the region as well as a complete breakdown of the game. Then, Keith and Stone join former Jets quarterback Pat Ryan for the complete play-by-play story.
'Nashville is excited…the mid-south is excited,' Stone said. 'We're ready to provide fans with complete coverage of the playoffs. It should be fun.'
More than 60 stations in seven states carry Titans Radio, a division of Citadel Broadcasting and Capitol Radio Networks.
