Titans Get Christmas Wish, Beat Cowboys 31-0
It was a game like no other, the Dallas Cowboys came to Nashville and left with a 31-0 loss and lots of questions to ponder during the offseason.
Linebacker Randall Godfrey will have only happy thoughts of the game against his former team. Godfrey finished with a total of 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
It was the complete effort by the defense that made the all the difference in the game. A fumble recovery and run back for a touchdown by Henry Ford and a touchdown off an interception by Keith Bulluck were two plays that put the Titans lead out of reach.
The offense made a strong showing in the fourth quarter after coming out of the first with only seven points and four turnovers.
It was Derrick Mason once again stepping up to the challenge and leading all receivers with 95 yards on 6 catches, but it wasn't only Mason in the offensive game plan.
In the second quarter Coach Fisher made an interesting call lining up Bruce Matthews as a eligiable receiver. Though the pass was intercepted the head coach seems to want to add a touchdown to Bruce's long resume.
With seventeen weeks and the regular season in the history books, the Titans now look forward to a week off before facing either the winner of the Denver/Baltimore game or the Indianapolis Colts.
