Ford returned a Dallas
fumble for a touchdown
Titans Defense Lassos Cowboys

The Titans defense is looking strong as ever heading into the postseason.

The Titans defenses' second straight shutout propelled the Titans to the playoffs with home field advantage throughout.

The unit was allowing only 248 yards a game before the Monday night showdown with the Cowboys. Dallas could only manage 95 yards of total offense and were forced to punt 10 times.

Four forced turnovers in the third quarter broke the game wide open and allowed the Titans to rest their starters for the grueling playoff run.

Eddie Robinson recovered a Dallas fumble on the Cowboys' first drive of the third quarter that led to an Eddie George touchdown run.

Henry Ford made it 21-0 with a fumble return for a touchdown on Dallas' ensuing drive.

Rookie Keith Bulluck got in on the action as well, picking off an Anthony Wright pass and returning it for a touchdown to essentially put the game out of reach for the Cowboys.

If the Titans defense can continue to shut down opponents, as well as put points on the board as they did Monday night, Tennessee will be a difficult team to stop on the road to Tampa.
