Playoffs Shaping Up
The playoff picture is now clearing up with the regular season almost complete.
The Dolphins with their victory over the Patriots won the AFC East and they will face the Colts in Miami on Dec. 30.
Denver will be playing in the first round on the road, but their opponent is still up in the air. If the Titans win on Monday Night Denver will face the Ravens and the Titans will have a bye week and home field advantage, but if the Titans lose they will have to take on the Broncos, while the Ravens would get the first round bye and home field advantage. Either way Denver will be playing on Dec. 31.
The Raiders are the number two seed and they have a bye week. The team will play the highest seeded wild card winner either on Jan. 6 or 7.
In the NFC, the Saints and the Rams square off for the second straight week in New Orleans on Dec. 31, while the Bucs face the Eagles on Dec. 31.
The New York Giants and the Minnesota Vikings will have a first round bye with the Giants having home field advantage.
