'Twas the night of Christmas and all through the 'Delph.
Santa wore his flame head...and so did his elf!
The ABC banners hung on the wall
Monday night football going out to all.

The Titans stood ready to accomplish their goals
Champions of the AFC Central...their proper role.
A week off...then wait...for a victim to arrive
At home in the playoffs...makes it easier to survive.

Suddenly on the field, what the heck's the matter?
T-Rac's arrived and the kids all scatter.
The players run out as the helmets explode
And the cheerleaders get Nashville into its frenzied mode.

Here comes D-Mas running back the opening kick
25...30...35...the Titans open quick.
McNair behind center...he hands off to Eddie
The 'D' line get pounded...do you think they're ready?

With the Titans up seven, the Cowboys on the attack
Wright back to pass....here comes Kearse....that's a sack!
Second and long, Wright back to throw
Samari Rolle intercepts...the pass it was low.

The final seconds countdown...the regular season ends
13 victories...3 losses...Tennessee has done it again
It's on to the playoffs and hopefully to the sunshine state
Super Bowl 35...the Titans there...hey, it's a date.
