Titans and Cowboys Add To The Injury List
Three Titans starters, quarterback Steve McNair, tight end Frank Wycheck and cornerback Samari Rolle sat out practice on Friday, all nursing minor injuries.
McNair ankle was a bit swollen, so coaches and trainers felt it would be best to hold him out of practice. Wycheck and Rolle both suffered injuries during Thursday’s practice. Wycheck has low back soreness with spasms and Rolle has a twisted knee. None of the injuries are major and Head Coach Jeff Fisher hopes to get them on the practce field Saturday.
In other injury news, defensive end Kenny Holmes (knee/shoulder) was able to do some light work on the field, but he along with safety Marcus Robertson (leg) will remain gametime decisions.
The Titans aren’t the only team adding to their injury report. The Cowboys on Friday listed former Titans tight end Jackie Harris as probable for Monday night’s game. The team’s second leading receiver is suffering from a minor knee injury. The Cowboys also added defensive end Aaron Fields as questionable with the flu.
