AFC Central Roundup: Jags Rookie May Have Failed Drug Test
Just two days after Jacksonville rookie R. Jay Soward was placed on the non-football injury list reports surface that he may have failed two random NFL drug tests.
According to a CBS Sportsline report, Soward twice tested positive this season, once for marijuana and again for an unknown substance. Under NFL rules, a player who fails a second test is suspended for four games.
Team officials have not yet committed on the situation, but teammates say they will stick by Soward's side until this personal nightmare ends.
