Titans Get A Light Wednesday Workout
The Tennessee Titans got a bonus day of practice on Wednesday. The usual schedule for a Monday night week is practice Thursday, Friday and Saturday. But this time, Head Coach Jeff Fisher wanted to get his players some extra work in the cold temperatures.
Most players took advantage of the extra day, which consisted of a few offensive and defensive series, and some light running.
Two of the players not participating were defensive end Kenny Holmes(shoulder/knee) and safety Marcus Robertson (shin). Both defensive starters are listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Cowboys.
Holmes has been unable to play since having knee surgery two weeks ago. According to Coach Fisher, Holmes shoulder and knee are each improving as expected, but there will not be a decision made until later in the week.
'We'll just take it day by day and try to get him on the field at some point during the week,' said Fisher. 'Hopefully by Saturday we'll have a better picture about Monday night.'
According to Coach Fisher a decision will also be made about Robertson by the end of the week, but right now Fisher believes he will sit the starting free safety.
