Titans Playoff Possibilities

The Titans last week clinched a playoff birth with a win over the Bengals. This week they could lock up the AFC Central and home field advantage, but for it to happen this weekend they need some help.

The reigning AFC champions can clinch the AFC Central with a win (vs. Cleveland) and a Baltimore loss or tie (vs. Arizona). If the Titans win the AFC Central, they can clinch a first-round playoff bye with an Oakland loss (vs. Seattle) or a Miami loss or tie (vs. Indianapolis). If the Titans win the AFC Central and both Oakland loses (vs. Seattle) and Miami loses or ties (vs. Indianapolis), then the Titans clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Titans also can accomplish their goal without help from anybody. If they just win their final two games (vs. Cincinnati, Dallas), they will have their first round bye and home field throughout the playoffs. Thus the road to the Super Bowl could go through the Music City.
