By David Doan January 3, 2002 Both quarterback Steve McNair (personal) and tight end Frank Wycheck (thigh) sat out of the Titans Thursday practice at Baptist Sports Park. McNair has been out of practice all week, but Titans Coach Jeff Fisher said the team hopes to have him back on Friday. As for Frank Wycheck, his thigh contusion is described by Coach Fisher as being much better. 'I expect to play Sunday,' Wycheck said. In other injury news, cornerback Daryl Porter was pulled out of practice Thursday after re-injuring his knee. Porter's status for Sunday is not clear.
Linebacker Frank Chamberlin, who sat out Wednesday's practice, returned Thursday and is doing well.
