Titans Radio Release January 4, 2002
Camden Central High School’s Ross Lumpkin, Trey Moore of Gallatin High School, and Paige Duhl of Hillwood High School were named finalists for the Kia Sportage Award.
The Kia Sportage Award recognizes outstanding Mid-South high school students who excel not only in athletics, but who also perform well academically and who participate in extracurricular activities and community service.
“These students represent the very best and brightest of our region’s young people,” said Kia Regional Manager, Steve Marsland. 'It means a lot to all of us at Kia to have the chance to learn about their special accomplishments.”
Kia will award two of the finalists with a $250 scholarship, and will present the Kia Sportage Award $1,000 scholarship to the final winner on Sunday at the Titans/Bengals game.
Lumpkin, Moore and Duhl were selected as finalists from the 16 weekly Kia Sportage Award winners by a panel of Titans Radio partners.
