Mitchell Undergoes Surgery
Staff Report January 3, 2002
Doctors performed an arthroscopic procedure on Donald Mitchell's right knee Wednesday in hopes of cleaning up some lingering soreness.
Mitchell had ACL surgery on the same knee prior to last season. He re-injured the knee against Cleveland December 2 and has not played since.
''We had looked at it and knew early in the week this was going to be a possibility,'' Coach Jeff Fisher said. ''As soon as he's ready, we'll start the rehab process.''
