Staff Report December 28, 2001 Titans quarterback Steve McNair participated in practice Thursday, taking some snaps against the defense and throwing some deep balls. 'We were hoping to let him go today (Thursday) and he did very well,' Head Coach Jeff Fisher said. 'We are going to stay very aggressive with his treatment all the way up to game time.' McNair's back tightened up against Green Bay two weeks ago and he missed practice all last week. He did play against Oakland but it came down to a gametime decision. In other injury news, Titans offensive lineman Bruce Matthews did not practice Thursday, but is likely to play.
'Bruce is feeling better and we will see how he is at kickoff,' Fisher said.
