Bishop Likely Out Rest Of Season
Staff Report December 18, 2001

Titans safety Blaine Bishop will likely miss the remaining three games of the season with a foot injury.

On Titans Radio's Verizon Wireless Jeff Fisher Show Tuesday night, Fisher said Bishop underwent an MRI on his ankle Tuesday.

'There's some stuff in there as you would imagine at his age and the wear and tear he's gone through,' Fisher said. 'It's unlikely at this point that Blaine's going to be able to play in any of the three remaining games. We're going to sit down and talk about it over the next couple of days.'

Bishop sprained his foot against St. Louis during the pre-season. The injury again became a problem against Tampa this October. Bishop played one play against Pittsburgh October 29 and broke his hand. During the rehab on the foot, his toe and ankle began to bother him.
