
Shelter Volunteer Honored As Community QB

The Titans honored Nashville Family Shelter volunteer Anna Sternheimer Saturday with the 2001 Titans Community Quarterback Award.
The 93-year old volunteer has been working with the shelter since 1989. She has served as a volunteer coordinator and was a founding member of the board of directors.
Titans Owner Bud Adams presented Sternheimer with a check for $11,000. The shelter received a $25,000 donation from the Titans Foundation and NFL Charities. Nine other finalists also received donations.
Sternheimer will compete with other team winners in the January Community Quarterback competition.
