Titans Collecting Toys For Needy Kids
Titans Radio Press Release December 12, 2001

When the Titans host the Green Bay Packers this Sunday (December 16th), fans will have the opportunity to donate toys to underprivileged kids throughout the mid-South.

The Tennessee Titans and U.S. Marine Corps Reserve are asking fans to bring any new, unwrapped toy to Adelphia Coliseum to the game on Sunday. All toys collected will benefit the Toys for Tots program.

Vice President of Community Affairs, Bob Hyde: 'Our fans have been great all year round with all of our drives. One final time we're asking for their help.'

The first 10,000 fans that donate a toy into one of the eight collections ponts located outside the stadium will receive a poster featuring the Titans Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, members of the U.S. Marine Corps and T-Rac.

The Titans will also select one generous toy-giving fan to join the pre-game festivities on the field prior to the game. A random entrance gate will be pre-selected and one lucky fan that donates a toy will be immediately escorted to the field along with up to three of their guests.

'This is just our way of thanking the fans for their support,' Hyde said.
