Safety Blaine Bishop Returned To Practice |
Hopkins and Bishop Both Practice, McNair Sits
By David Doan December 5, 2001
Offensive lineman Brad Hopkins and safety Blaine Bishop practiced Wednesday as the Titans began work on Minnesota.
Hopkins broke his hand against Cincinnati and has missed the past two games.
'Brad practiced with a cast and it looks like he will be ok,' Head Coach Jeff Fisher said Wednesday. 'He was able to use the hand and that is very positive.'
Bishop has missed all but one play of the last seven games with a foot injury. He made it through three periods of work Wednesday.
'He practiced, moved around and did pretty good,' Fisher said. 'Blaine is much better than he has been the last couple weeks. We still don't know about Sunday, but he did get good work today.'
Quarterback Neil O'Donnell took all the snaps with the first team offense as Steve McNair's arm continues to heal from the injury suffered in Sunday's win. Fisher said he hopes McNair will be able to practice Thursday or Friday.
Cornerbacks Donald Mitchell and DeRon Jenkins watched practice from the stationary bikes. Both will be questionable for Sunday with knee sprains.
