Seven inches of snow did not slow the Titans preparations Thursday for the AFC Championship game.
Head coach Jeff Fisher took his team inside the indoor practice facility, a rarity because of the artifical turf.
''The only thing that was affected was the participation of our quarterback,'' Fisher said. ''Steve threw. He threw well today, but just threw with our trainers and coaches. He did not participate in any of our drills because of the artifical surface.''
McNair had hoped to practice fully in Thursday's work as the swelling in his thumb decreased.
The Titans also limited several other players' reps because of the artifical turf, including tackle Brad Hopkins.
Fisher said guard Zack Piller did not participate in drills because of personal reasons, but he said Piller still has a chance to play Sunday.
Because the heavy snow did not arrive until around 9am Thursday morning, Fisher said no one had a problem getting to the facility.
''Everyone was here early this morning before it started,'' Fisher said. ''We just have to give ourselves ample time in the morning because it is a travel day.''
Tennessee travels to Oakland Friday. The team will walk through in the Bay Area Saturday.
