Historically, divisional games between Tennessee and Pittsburgh have left both teams battered.
Saturday's game proved no different as a host of Titans left the divisional playoff game with injuries. Quarterback Steve McNair, running back Eddie George and cornerback Andre Dyson appear to have the most serious injuries.
''What can you say about our quarterback?'' Titans Head coach Jeff Fisher said. ''I can't tell you how his hand is right now. I'm afraid to find out. He's got a chunk of skin ripped off the top of his thumb, and he couldn't grip the ball.''
McNair, who hit his hand on a helmet, said after the game that he would play next Sunday in the AFC Championship game.
George left the game on the first offensive series of the first half, after a hit by Casey Hampton. George suffered a concussion and did not return.
Dyson missed most of the second half with cramps and a shoulder injury that Fisher said ''may require surgery.'' Dyson will undergo an MRI Sunday.
Guard Zach Piller left the game after re-injuring his left calf. Linebacker Rocky Boiman injured his knee.
